The Role of Applications Engineer:
Joining as a UK based Applications Engineer you will be predominantly working with new and existing research and development clients that are looking for hardness testing equipment and support. You will work very closely with international sales teams to understand what the need is and be a main point of technical contact from pre-sales through to contract delivery, implementation and customer follow up. Offering technical support to the internal business and external clients you will be solving technical issues, assisting with product training. This is an exciting role for someone that has a strong technical understanding of materials testing and, in particular, hardness profiling.
The Candidate for the Applications Engineer:
The successful candidate needs to be hungry, motivated, hardworking, and focused. You will be either a graduate of materials science/engineering or be a hands-on lab test engineer that has worked extensively within materials testing. Full specific product training will be provided but experience within hardness testing would be highly advantageous. It is important to stress that the company are looking for candidates to progress through the business and have aspirations to further their careers.
