The Company recruiting for the Area Sales Manager:

Having a well-established and respected engineering tradition, this organisation boasts a great portfolio of engineering and manufacturing solutions. Trusted by manufacturing clients due their engineering quality, reliability, and manufacturing capability. Working with a great portfolio of manufacturers across all industry sectors they are in a fortunate position to be looking to grow and strengthen their area sales / account management team.

The Role of the Area Sales Manager:

Managing the Scotland territory, you will be responsible for all sales across this geographical location. Working closely with the internal sales support team, you will be expected to manage end user accounts into the industrial and manufacturing sectors. It is a busy role where you will be managing a variety of accounts whilst also hunting for new business and challenging the market to switch to your products and solutions.

The Candidate for the Area Sales Manager:

You will have previous sales experience within the general manufacturing market and have sold machine tools. Having sound technical and engineering understanding your commercial sales appreciation and ability is important. Your ability to manage accounts whilst also hunting for new business is a pre-requisite as well as having excellent organisational and presentation skills.

You MUST have previous sales experience within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
Exceptional commercial sales ability coupled with a practical mindset & technical understanding.
Looking for career development, progression and willing to undertake training.

The Package for the Area Sales Manager:

£45,000 – £55,000 basic salary, competitive bonus
