The Role of the Area Service Manager:
- Managing a territory of Scotland and northern England
- Providing technical support, guidance and advice to electric bus dealerships
- Liaising with internal stakeholders with any quality issues within the Technical, Service, and Body Building teams
- Assist with trials, vehicle investigations and fault diagnosis
- Collect details on Vehicle Off Road (VOR) issues
- Spotting opportunities for training and business growth
- The size of the territory will require overnights and time away from home
The Candidate for the Area Service Manager:
- Existing knowledge of the coach and bus sectors (preferable), or other large vehicles such as HGV, plant, etc.
- Experience with vehicle electronics and diagnostics.
- A HNC (or above/equivalent) in an engineering discipline.
- Proactive and able to plan own diary and workload
- Full UK drivers’ licence.
The Package for the Area Service Manager:
- £45,000 – £55,000 basic salary, depending on experience
- 5% company bonus
