The Company recruiting for the Business Development Manager (Training Services):

A rare opportunity has opened within this market leading company. Providing training and consultancy services to manufacturing companies from SME’s through to blue-chip organisations for over 35 years, they are looking to grow and strengthen their team coming in to 2023. You’ll be joining an experienced and knowledgeable group of consultants, engineers and sales professionals.

The Role of the Business Development Manager (Training Services):

Joining as a Business Development Manager, you will be targeting manufacturing customers across the midlands and north to sell a range of engineering training services. The aim of the service is to upskill maintenance engineers within the customer, which in turn will enable them to reduce capital expenditure, improve maintenance, competency and up-time of plant equipment which overall increases customers efficiencies and outputs. The role is split between account management and new business. Based predominantly from the Birmingham office, you’ll be consulting with potential MD’s, operations directors, and chief engineers within your client base. You’ll also have face-to-face meetings on customers sites.

The Candidate for the Business Development Manager (Training Services):

This role will really suit an established sales professional with route to market knowledge of the manufacturing and process sector.

You must be credible and have an understanding of the manufacturing market
Comfortable and confident presenting
Full UK driving licence

The Package for the Business Development Manager (Training Services):

£40,000 – £45,000 basic salary
£10k OTE
£500 pcm car allowance
Pension, training
25 days holiday plus stats
