The Role of the Desk Contracts Manager:
Joining the business as a Desk Contracts Manager, you will be managing a portfolio of domestic property insurance claims. You’ll be liaising between insurance providers and the policy holder to build strong relationships, establish the urgency of the claim, and potentially spot fraudulent claims. Furthermore, you’ll arrange site surveys, agree dates, determine materials, and collect payment if the policy holder wants materials not covered by the policy. In addition to the fast-paced role, you’ll also be expected to:
- Provide excellent and friendly service to potential customers that contact the office
- Effectively resolve customer enquiries, questions, and projects
- Deal with business enquiries & projects and ensure they are all processed correctly and to the correct division
- Manage all enquiries that come through the company website
The Candidate for the Desk Contracts Manager:
The successful candidate must have excellent customer service skills and be able to demonstrate a high standard of written and spoken English. You’ll have ideally come from a claims handling or desk contracts management position. The main skills and abilities they are looking from an individual:
- 2+ years of insurance claims experience in any sector
- Pro-active, hardworking attitude
- Effective and empathetic communicator with strong verbal and written skills
- Self-drive/motivation and career ambition
- Attention to detail, methodical mindset that can take the initiative
The Package for the Desk Contracts Manager:
- £25,000 – £30,000 basic salary
- Company Bonus
- 40 hours a week
