The Company recruiting for the Key Account Manager:
A great opportunity has arisen to join this award-winning company. The market in which they operate has grown from $4b in 2015 to $8.26b (17.7% annually) and has huge potential for further growth. The company has grown considerably and are growing quarter-on-quarter, so are therefore looking to extend their account management team further. They have a list of industry awards that are as long as your arm. They are recognised as a market-leading business in their space and have an excellent reputation in the market. Turnover worldwide is in the hundreds of millions; they are profitable and their metrics are good.
The Role of the Key Account Manager:
Reporting to the sales director, you will be responsible for cross and upselling into and existing base of accounts. Deals are complex and sales cycles can be long with multiple decision makers involved in the process. A large part of the role will be focused on strategically mapping and planning the accounts that you manage.
The Candidate for the Key Account Manager:
The successful candidate needs to be a proven account manager, who has been involved in strategically mapping and planning accounts and involved in cross and upsell. You will need to understand sales structure and process and have a curious outlook. You will need a background selling SaaS, application or cloud solutions. Ideally you will have sold to or have a good understanding of IT decision makers (IT Director, CISO, CIO, CTO) or governance and compliance-based decision makers OR have sold security software, content software or infrastructure software.
The Package for the Key Account Manager:
£50,000-£65,000 with double OTE, car allowance and stock options
