The Role of Managing Director:
With full support from the group headquarters, you will have the autonomy of managing the business and motivating your team with your entrepreneurial spirit. Hands-on, you will be personally engaged in the development of new products with a willingness to fully immerse yourself in the technical aspects of the company as well as at the commercial end. Your role will also encompass the full spectrum of developing and producing high quality, premium products to fruition, growing market share further and increasing the bottom line.
The Candidate for the Managing Director:
You are likely to hold a degree in Engineering or similar technical field with several years of experience as a Senior Director with full P&L responsibility. A strong bias towards New Product Development is a prerequisite. A charismatic leader, you will be well versed in managing a team, technically minded and self-motivated. Experience in the management of assembly and supply chains, as well as international export of a premium product would be a significant advantage. Ideally, you will be used to dealing with the development of mechanical and electronic systems and software.
The Package for the Managing Director
£75,000 – £80,000 basic salary
