The Company recruiting for the Technical Sales Engineer:

- Provider of specialist systems into materials research and testing environments.

The Role of the Technical Sales Engineer:
- A mix of field based and office-based sales, split between account management and new business.
- Equipment values ranging from £10k – £30k typically, with some bespoke projects costing significantly more.
- Responsible for full sales cycle with some involvement with marketing and support as required.
- Sales cycles ranging from weeks up to 2 years.
- Shaping the medium and long term sales strategy.
- Having technical sales conversations with specialist engineering companies involved in the materials testing and manufacturing sectors, including Universities, power generation, and the nuclear space, amongst others.
The Candidate for the Technical Sales Engineer:
- Commercial awareness and able to have specialised conversations with clients.
- Proven technical sales experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Sees the bigger picture.
- Full UK drivers licence and able to work in the UK without sponsorship.
The Package for the Technical Sales Engineer:
- £40,000 – £45,000 basic salary, depending on experience (Up to £50k with industry experience)
- £5,000 – £10,000 OTE 1st year
