The Role of the Business Development Manager (EMEA):
Joining as a Business Development Manager in a home-based role and reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will be responsible for generating new business within a number of vertical sectors. Key responsibilities include:
- Drive new business opportunities to enterprise clients
- You will be selling to C/board level so need to possess the relevant gravitas and credibility
- Be responsible for selling the organisations full range of high value, complex solutions with a long sales cycle and high order values (several hundreds of thousands plus)
- Get involved in marketing campaigns and attend events and exhibitions

The Candidate for the Business Development Manager (EMEA):
The candidate will need to be new business focussed with a true hunter mentality and have previous experience closing large, complex enterprise deals (values £300,000+) in the multi-site networking and connectivity space.
If you have received any previous training in sales process or sales methodology (SPIN, Challenger, Miller Heiman etc) this would be advantageous.
The company are looking to recruit 2 x BDM’s with one looking to target the utilities vertical, so if you have previous experience selling into that sector (having previously sold large complex technology solutions software or services) this could potentially be a fit as the company are recruiting for multiple roles.
You will need to be a proactive self-starter, able to sell to board level, polished, presentable and able to close.
The Package for the Business Development Manager (EMEA):
·£60,000-80,000 basic salary
·OTE £160,000
·£6.5k car allowance
