Our biggest challenge was finding the time to commit to the project.

From putting up an effective advert, to scoping the CV’s that came in, to efficiently interviewing. The process felt rushed and in the end, we were just “taking a punt”.

Nick came to the office and sat down with us to understand what we were after. He was very quick to understand what we needed in terms of the right individual and the right skill set.

After that John was in touch regularly so ensure we were aware the process was moving forward. He found people who he thought would be the right fit for the firm. On top of this John gave us tips to ensure the candidates were engaged with us and to keep the relationship fresh.

John was invaluable in ensuring we didn’t loose contact with the candidates we had identified as ideal and gave us steers here and there in the negotiation as well, he was on the right wavelength as us and it was always like getting an honest opinion from a colleague.
