The Role of the CAD Technician:
Joining as CAD Design engineer you will be predominantly office-based working with on new design projects. Due to the nature of the equipment, each project will be different thus offering a variety in your working day and the interest/flexibility that engineers crave. You will be working closely with the design team to produce engineering drawings used within the manufacturing department. This is an exciting role for someone with Autodesk Inventor experience that is looking to work in a fast-paced rewarding environment.
The Candidate for the CAD Technician:
The successful candidate needs to be a good team player with some technical engineering flare. You will have previously worked with CAD software packages ideally AutoDesk Inventor and have the ability to work within a team. Full product training will be provided but sheet metal design exposure would also be a real advantage. This is a great working environment and the client are looking for someone who has the right skills but also has the ability to work as part of a team.
- You MUST have some form of CAD software design experience, this could be gained through previous work exposure, college/university course, hands on experience or a genuine interest in CAD software/design projects.
- Practical thought process and an eye for detail
- Team player, good communication skills and confident
The Package for the CAD Technician:
·£28,000-£30,000 basic salary
