TalentTech Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of Electrical Safety First (ESF), the UK’s leading electrical safety charity, dedicated to preventing deaths, injury and damage caused by electricity.

About Us:
- ESF have been campaigning for, and pursing changes in electrical safety and regulations for almost 70 years and were previously known as the Electrical Safety Council (ESC).
- The charity has two technical teams, focusing on electrical installation and electrical product safety.
- Planning for the future they are looking to strengthen their team and capabilities.
What Will I Be Doing?
You will be required to:
- Manage the Electrical Installation Safety team (2 currently in the team placed by TalentTech).
- Liaise with internal colleagues in the Public Affairs and Communications teams to raise awareness and industry standards of unsafe electrical installations.
- Represent ESF through presentations, exhibitions and media engagements (web, TV, and Radio) to highlight their ongoing work.
- Stay abreast of relevant EU/IEC/UK standards and developments.
- Guide the conception, design, development and maintenance of ESF’s technical and safety publications.
- Manage technical projects and investigations.
- Be based in the London office along with hybrid working.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Prior demonstratable experience of technical team management.
- Be qualified and experienced in the design, installation, testing and verification of electrical systems in the built environment.
- A degree in an electrotechnical discipline is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with low carbon / renewable technologies such as Solar PV and Battery Storage is beneficial.
- Confident writing and presenting detailed technical reports.
- Have right to work in the UK as sponsorship cannot be provided.
Package on Offer:
- £70,000 – £75,00 basic salary depending on experience.
