The Company recruiting for the Lighting Consultant

- Renowned for their quality and bespoke appearances, they emphasise quality over cost.
- Found in customers from Heritage sites, through to the HoReCa sector.
- They’re looking for somebody who is looking for a commercial focused role who perhaps hasn’t sold before.
Your Role as a Lighting Consultant:
- Conducting customer visits around your territory of NHC, East Anglia, and Essex and London.
- Typically 8 meetings per week, with 1 – 2 days in outer London.
- Consulting with electrical consultants, designers, and architects to get specified in.
- Projects range across a variety of commercial customers, ranging from £15k to north of £50k.
- You’re selling on the quality and prestige rather than on price.
- Conduct CPD’s internally and externally as required.
- Get involved with Project Management on some larger, multi-site projects.
- Liaising with internal sales, marketing, and product departments.
Ideal Background for the Lighting Consultant Position:
- You’ll need some experience in at least 1 of the following:
- Commercial lighting and consultancy
- Electrical projects / lighting projects
- Strong electrical or lighting understanding
- Be professional and consultative; this is not a ‘Hard Sell’, volume based role.
- Credible and memorable, not an ego.
- A full driver’s licence
- Full right to work in the UK as no sponsorship will be provided at any point.
The Package for a Lighting Consultant:
- £45,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
- ~£6k OTE
- Company vehicle + train costs when in London
- Training, support, and progression
