The Role of Field Service & Calibration Engineer:
As a field service & calibration engineer, you will be home based, covering the Northern Home Counties. You will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and repair of this mechatronics biased testing equipment. You will be working within a variety of appealing manufacturing sectors including the aerospace, automotive, and medical industries. You will play an important role in ensuring the equipment is correctly calibrated and always maintained to UKAS standards.
The Candidate for the Field Service & Calibration Engineer:
You will have a background in mechatronics, instrument calibration, or the maintenance and service of weapons or communications equipment within the armed forces would be of significant interest. You need to be able to read mechanical or electrical drawings and have high levels of attention to detail along with strong customer service skills. Ideally you will have worked to fine tolerances and have correctly calibrated high value capital equipment. Candidates with experience from the Armed Forces such as weapons technicians and engineers are advised to apply.
The Package for the Field Service & Calibration Engineer:
·£28,000-£32,000 basic salary, D.O.E
·Payrise after probation
