The Company recruiting for the National Account Manager:
Having a well-established and respected engineering tradition, this organisation boasts a great portfolio of engineering and manufacturing solutions. Trusted by OEM clients globally due their engineering quality, reliability, and manufacturing capability they have a footprint across the globe within 40+ countries. Working with a great portfolio of OEMs across all industry sectors they are in a fortunate position to be looking to grow and strengthen their account management team.
The Role of the National Account Manager:
Managing a Global Manufacturing account base, you will be responsible for all sales and projects across the UK. Working closely with the internal sales support team, you will be expected to manage complex account development projects, react to RFI’s & RFQ’s, present and negotiate complex commercial sales agreements across several OEM customers and industry sectors. It is a busy role where you will be managing a variety of strategic projects/accounts simultaneously at varying stages so your commercial sales acumen will be always challenged.
The Candidate for the National Account Manager:
You will have previous strategic account management experience ideally within the OEM & general manufacturing market sectors however other account management experiences in aligned industries would be considered. Having sound technical and engineering understanding your commercial sales appreciation and ability is more important than what you have sold. Your ability to manage a wide portfolio of manufacturing clients with specific individual needs is essential. Having excellent organisational and presentation skills together with the ability to project manage a high-volume workload is desirable.
- You MUST have previous strategic account management experience ideally within the OEM or general engineering manufacturing sector.
- Exceptional commercial sales ability coupled with a practical mindset & basic engineering understanding.

The Package for the National Account Manager:
·£50,000 – £55,000 basic salary, plus 20% Bonus
